Pricing questions
- What counts as a send?
- Sending a document for signature, once, however many people sign it. Reminders, the completed PDF and the certificate are all part of the send.
- What happens when I reach a limit?
- Nothing is deleted and nothing already sent stops working. Creating the next document, room or link asks you to upgrade, and deleting one makes space for another. Sends beyond the month's allowance cost one credit each, bought in packs under Settings → Billing.
- Do signers or readers count as people in the workspace?
- No. Only the people who sign in to write and send count. Recipients sign and read from private links without an account.
- Can we run it ourselves?
- Yes. XDocs runs in Docker against ordinary Postgres. With no billing keys configured, a self-hosted deployment is unmetered.
